Chicago MMG signee Rockie Fresh presents "Back Down", his new single produced by Grammy-nominated music producers/songwriters/artists The MIDI Mafia, the producers behind records for Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Frank Ocean, Brandy, Cee-Lo Green and more. Rockie recently released his Electric Highway mixtape hosted by DJ Ill Will.
"It was one of those situations where you play a beat for an artist and you immediately see the reaction," says Dirty Swift of MIDI Mafia. "Back Down" is part of The MIDI Mafia’s “GET CONNECTED | BRAND X” project, which will feature the production duo working with the next generation of hot up-and-coming talent/brands.
The project will be released and featured on MTV’s newest platform Artist.MTV as part of a partnership between MTV and MIDI Mafia's artist development platform "Family Ties Entertainment". This relationship will allow The MIDI Mafia to release various projects in conjunction with MTV who will integrate this original content throughout all of the Viacom properties online and on-air.
